Hernandez, new HS Clubs, Organizations Chair

Mr. Joselito B. Hernandez, STL for Filipino, is the new Clubs and Organizations Chair.

With the resignation of Mr. Cezar L. Mendoza who went into public service as the elected Barangay Captain of Malis, Guiguinto, Bulacan despite being the number 3 elected Municipal Councilor of the same town, Mr. Joselito B. Hernandez, the Subject Team Leader for Filipino, was recently appointed by Sr. Maria Remedios R. Cayetano, SPC, Directress-HS Principal, to chair the Clubs and Organizations.

Hernandez, a long-time Filipino teacher, returned to St. Paul College of Bocaue after a short hiatus when he opted to teach in his hometown in the Bicol Region with his wife, Josephine, a former Technology and Livelihood Education teacher and 2nd Year Homeroom Team Leader, now with a public school. Despite the break in his SPCB employment, he gained permanent status after few years.

“I am overwhelmed with the work as Clubs and Organizations Chair. There are a lot of things I need to learn as I am still beginning to adapt to the rigors of the office,” he shared.

One of his immediate accomplishments, together with the HS Academic Chair, Mr. Ernesto U. Guillermo, Jr., is the resolution of how extra- and co-curricular points are determined especially for in-school activities.

Prior to his new appointment, he was assigned as a section adviser of the Fourth Year Level. He requested that he be relieved as a section adviser so he could attend better to the needs of his new office and as STL in Filipino.
