SPC Bocaue gears for accreditation

St. Paul College of Bocaue has been mulling over on getting accredited for some years now, but as the School Year 2012-2013 opened, the administration seemed to take it seriously this time.

Sr. Bernadette Racadio, SPC, the Directress and High School Principal addresses the administrators as she thanked Mrs. Penny Sibal of Phoenix Publishing House, Inc. during the Off-Site Planning.
When the school administrators and the middle level managers had their Off-Site Planning at the Phoenix Minitel in Quezon City last May 24 – 25, 2012, Sr. Bernadette S. Racadio, SPC, the Directress and High School Principal bared the school’s plan of working for accreditation this year. She told the administrators that when some accreditors visited the school last summer on her invitation for an informal exploratory evaluation, they were awed at the school site and the facilities and allegedly said the school is ripe for accreditation.

As part of the immediate preparation for accreditation, the administrators were oriented on the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) accreditation preparation and process by Mrs. Alma T. Dayag, a PAASCU Accreditor and the former GS Principal at St. Paul College, Pasig.

Mrs. Dayag, likewise, stressed the heavy weight given to faculty and instruction. She tied up her PAASCU orientation with Differentiated Instruction to familiarize them with the latest approach in instructional delivery.

The Off-Site Planning was sponsored by Phoenix Publishing House, Inc.

The SPCB Administrators and Middle Managers take a pose with Mrs. Alma Dayag and Mrs. Eva Alambra, both of Phoenix Publishing House, Inc. after the 2-day Off-site Planning at the Phoenix Minitel.
