Rev. Fr. Wilfredo Saniel, SVD stresses a point on theological virtues to the faculty during the 3-day retreat at the St. Scholastica's Center of Spirituality in Tagaytay City, October 10-12, 2014. |
The entire St. Paul College
of Bocaue faculty, staff and maintenance of both Grade School and High School held their annual retreat at St. Scholastica’s Center for Spirituality in
Tagaytay City on October 10-12, 2014.
Rev. Fr. Wifredo
Saniel, SVD, a grade school Paulinian alumnus of the then San Miguel Catholic Institute now St. Paul University San Miguel assisted by Bro. Lesther M. Mangaliman, gave the retreat for the faculty while Rev.
Fr. Christopher Salonga, of the Rogationist Fathers assisted by Sr. Ma. Gemma
Moralita, SPC., gave the retreat for the staff and maintenance respectively.
Fr. Wilfredo
shared his unforgettable experiences with the SPC sisters and expressed how
proud he was to be a Paulinian. He stirred the minds of the retreatants as he reflected on the school’s
thrust, Ablaze Alive in God’s Light.
He encouraged
the group to rest, eat and pray well because according to him, it is only when
one is rested well and full that he/she encounters God.
Meanwhile, Fr. Cris carried the retreat of the staff and maintenance with great humor and contagious joy and laughter to the delight of the retreatants. He likewise offered three books he penned about happiness and joy.
Sr. Maria Remedios R. Cayetano, SPC, Directress-HS Principal, ensured that the retreatants were in proper disposition, particularly on silence, during the entire retreat. Sr. Marie Celine P. Santos, SPC, the GS Principal and Local Superior also encouraged everyone to make the retreat a meaningful one, to which the retreatants respondedly well.
