St. Paul College of Bocaue braced for a new era of management as it
welcomed back Sr. Maria Remedios R. Cayetano, SPC and Sr. Marie Celine P.
Santos, SPC as its new School Directress-High School Principal and Local
Community Superior and Grade School Principal respectively as Sr.
Bernadette S. Racadio, SPC and Sr.
Virginia P. Taguinod, SPC left SPCB for new assignments beginning SY 2014 –
2015.
Sr. Maria Remedios, SPC swapped assignments with Sr. Bernadette in the
recent shuffle of assignments of Sisters in the light of the new set of the SPC
Provincial Council, with Sr. Lilia Therese Tolentino, SPC as the new Provincial
Superior. Sr. Bernadette is now the Vice President for Academics in St. Paul
College of Ilocos Sur in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, a position held by Sr. Maria
Remedios prior to her transfer to SPCB. Sr. Remy served St. Paul College of
Bocaue 10 years ago as the Christian Formation and Community Extension Services
Head, even as she led also the Third Year Level as Homeroom Level Coordinator.
Meanwhile, Sr. Marie Celine took over the position of Sr. Virginia, who
was assigned to St. Paul College of Davao as its School Directress. Sr. Celine
used to be the School Directress and High School Principal of SPCB and was
responsible in the acquisition of the additional lot where the Our Lady of
Chartres Building has been constructed. The OLC Building in itself was also her
major project prior to her transfer also to St. Paul College of Ilocos Sur as
President. She served as the School Directress and Principal of Our Lady of
Peace School in Antipolo City prior to her second assignment in SPCB.
The entire SPCB academic community paid tribute to the two outgoing Sisters
in a Despedida Program held on May 6, 2014 at the Fr. Louis Chauvet Gymnasium.
Both Sr. Bernadette and Sr. Virginia served SPCB for 9 years and were given
Plaques of Appreciation and Lifetime Achievement in Education by the SPCB
Academic Community.
The school also celebrated Sr. Bernadette’s last birthday in SPCB as
Directress on May 20, 2014. She profusely thanked the faculty, staff,
maintenance, personnel, parents, students, and alumni for all their expressions
of support in her 9 years as Directress.
